PROGRESSIVE bearings for front crossmember
Has anyone seen or heard of this certain bearing setup that goes in the front stock crossmember. Helps reduce wheelhop seems to be an alternative to buying a whole new crossmemeber.
the link off of this page is dead, but here is some info:

A lot of people buy complete crossmembers for extra room for their header and also to be able to use the 92-95 Civic radiator. Oh and I dont know about Z10 or jimfab but the place racing cross member offers the front mount for a B-series swap.

I have a set installed on my crx from OPM. they work great!! installing them is easy as well. I actually am pulling them out cuz I'm planning on doing motor swap and need more room. anyone interested in buying them? 50.00 plus shipping?

Other than wheel hop (I don't ever drag race or "drop my clutch"), what do they offer? what benefit am I gonna see on a track if any?
I ask because I've never seen these before.

after i installed them my turn in was much sharper and going through turns on the track my steering felt much more solid.
Compare to a 13 years old bushings.for shure this is going to be a huge upgrade.
I wouldn't reccomend these for street driven car.Well, not for road like us(Quebec one)
With spherical bearing on lower control arm for the front and the rear,I'm shure,on a racetrack, those would be a good way to increase steering response and suspension works.
It's pretty obvious that there's no play on spherical bearing. No play =better controls.

I would not suggest these on a daily driven car. They are not that high of quality and will not last at all. I have friends who use them, but, I'll stick with hard urethane.

do you have a pic of them installed on the car? i need to install mine and it doesn't seem hat difficult, but pictures always make things easier.

yeah I can snap apci and post them. possibly tomorrow. i also can take a pics of the crappy instructions that came with them. you really can't see much from the front when they are installed because of the stock washer. you can see a bit from the back though. took me about an hour to install both sides. I 2nd that this is overkill for the street as they make knocking noises when taking off from a stand still.
