A/C Baby!!!!
Well I got my A/C fixed yesterday, and man am I happy. My compressor leaked about a month ago, and I had to drive in this Texas heat like that. It was a bit expensive, but well worth it. I got a remanufactured compressor online, and got a mechanic friend to install everything, and re-charge my system. Life is good again.
Here's the breakdown of what I had to get.
Reman. Compressor = 199.00
New Dryer/Receiver to receive a 12m warranty for the compressor = 35.00
Compressor Core charge = 45.00
Shipping = 10.00
Install and re-charge = 100.00
Total = about $300 with the return of my core.
Being cold in my car when it's 100 degrees outside = PRICELESS!
