Another CW bites the dust...Need Help on Repair/Replace
Yesterday, in order to evade some stupid rice rocket Neon, I tried to pull over to the side of the road on the highway but lost control because he also swerved. (He was behind.) Anyway- long story short- I crashed into the walls 3 times- 2 times on the front- both left and right- and once in the rear. All four wheels are damaged and both airbags popped. Please don't flame- I don't really need that right now and please don't post - "What happened." All I need to know right now is how to talk to the adjuster and whether or not to repair the car or replace it. I bought mine from Canada so there are still 9 more @ Erin Mills. Is there anything I should check for? I know the R is a balanced vehicle- so I don't want to leave a dent unfixed or a part not replaced. How do I know if the motor is damaged or not? Please post some good tips- I talk to the guy on Monday. Thank you. I'm okay- and so is the passenger. #1260 is out of commission for now....
oh yeah- if there are any R owners in the Baltimore City area that could either a) Recommend a better body shop than the one provided by the Ellicot City Acura Dealership or b) come and help me assess the damage- that would be greatly appreciated..

Sorry about the car, I really hate to see the pictures of the car but if you post them or email them i could probably say wether it would be worth fixing, but its still hard to say without inspecting the car up close, ask around at the Porsche dealers BMW etc who they use to fix their top end cars.
I'm very sorry to hear this!! I know it's over an hour away from Baltimore, but I've had excellent work done at Wagon Works in Arlington, VA. They did my JDM conversion along with another. They specialize in high end cars and I wouln't take my R anywhere else. Email me if you interested.
Thanks,

Sorry about the accident; I dont think there is anything I can help you with but I do have a question however.
How did you manage to import a car from Canada to the U.S.?
What are the legalities & paper work associted with it?
Thanks a lot, and once again, I'm sorry.
If it makes you feel any better (I doubt it will) I bent my rim today while taking an apex on an on-ramp and hitting a water drain.
Anyone know good places that fix rims?

Sorry to hear about your accident. What makes it worse is that your car is an ultra-rare CW Canadian R! Dam'n that sucks! Best wishes in fixing your ride.
