Default 22mm Progress bar installed now I have ????

I put it on, and its awfully close to the lca's when back on the ground...could this be a problem......

I connected it to the subframe via the LCA bolt, the upper lil bolt I left off due to the fact that I have no bolts for it......I"m running SRR LCA's, and where the bar goes over it almost hits.....ver lil clearance enough for a few pieces of paper to go through............

Mine Progress is the same way on my EJ8 sedan. It doesn't worry me. And actually, on the passenger side the anti-sway bar put a little dent in the LCA. Nothing's mechnically wrong or anything, so I don't even think about it. I'm more worried about the rock chip I have in my windshield.

I'm using the stock LCAs. This is the only pic I have. It's of the driver's side, so you can't see the dent on the passenger's side. You can still see how it sits pretty close to the LCA, though.

Hmm, those all look mounted funny to me, but I have an ST sway bar so maybe they are supposed to be mounted that way?

Progress bars mount differently than ST bars. It's that simple.

careawholelot -- I use my rear Progress 22 mm with the OEM front anti-sway bar, and I love the setup. Awesome grip, less understeer than before (of course), and it's a cheap rear anti-sway bar.

Thanks for the info dawg,

Yeah the Progress bar mounts to the LCA's bolt and to the strut mount location on the lca, seems to me its stronger that way and less likely to rip the frame out, still its a beefy bar and it could rip it out. Only thing I can't figure is the most upper bolt, it barely attaches to the subframe!! What does it do?? I'm putting the bolt on tonite, but only thing I see is that it holds the bracket in place...thats all...

SO far I like my car....a review once I got it all set up, still no noise from the bar hitting the lca's.....I'll check for dents after work..
