ive seen that actually engine and intake in person.....dunno wat brand it is....but its carbon fiber and from japan since that guy imports everything from there
yeah, I watched that ARC intake rob an R of about 10 hp (throughout the whole range) on a '00 ITR. We were comparing intakes (ARC, AEM short, AEM long) on an engine whose only other mod was JDM header. It might work on an engine with other more extensive mods, but as a first level modification it didn't prove itself very well.

Maybe the design helps in the throttle response department, but I think it contradicts the principles of air flow eficiency due to that 'not too smooth' bent angle...

that's a sick intake...enlarge the mid section to cause a venturi (ventuli? sp?) effect...nice...
