Default Alignment Problem, HELP!

I went to drop of my 98 Honda Passport EX 4x4 for a 4-wheel alignment at Firestone. Well, bascially to make a long story short, they fucked up the alignment and can't get it correct. When i went in, it was only slightly off and pulled to the left, now it pulls to the right and worst then before! They told me it's within spec from the print out and that it might be the front tires. So they swap them left to right, it got a little better but still very noticablely off. So I ran out of time and have to leave after spending like 5 hours there.

So what is the problem? I'm freaking pissed because I paid $149 for the lifetime alignment and it's worst off then before. WTF, HELP!!

do you have any friends that work in shops that have alignment equipment? if so, get a reading on your current alignment specs, and compare them to the stock specs. if they are different, (which they can be, but only to very small amounts), go back and ask them about it. like i said, they can be different, but they should be within the factory limits.

if you can't prove them wrong, ask for a manager. take him for a ride and ask him what he thinks. if you don't like what he thinks, tell him what you think! if that doesn't work, call their corporate headquarters...

Is your car lowered? Do you have camber problem? Even if your wheels are parallel but your camber angles are not the same, it can push the car to either side. Usually shop people only adjust the wheels and not the camber.

Lower? lol

It's a SUV.

Anyway, I have a apt with them in a few hours at noon. I'm going to bitch about this and if they don't fix it right, I'm want my money back.

Anynow, I was told the "tie-rods" may not have been adjusted, this is why it's pulling to a side even though the "specs" are supposedly according to the factory.

the tie rods only adjust the toe angles and shouldnt cause a pull unless they were way out of specs
