Ford Probe GT vs DSM Intercooler - Which is best for 8psi?
I plain on front mounting one of these intercoolers.
Ford Probe GT 13W x 12H x 3D with 1.75 Outlets
or
DSM gen 1
Talon/Eclipse 11W x 8H x 4D
Has anyone used both? Is there a formula for find out effiency(ms)? Anyone opinion are welcome!

why not go supra? the dsm guys use them as a upgrade(i was one)...or find a conquest fmic? u can find one for about 200.. and its made to be a fmic..the smic wont be the most efficent thing

why not try a saab one i heard someone get one new at the dealer for under 150.

You absolutely do NOT want to use the Probe IC.. The first gen PGT IC's suck.. Dont go there..
Spend the extra 75$ and buy a Viggen Saab FMIC or Starion... Trust us..

I haven't used either. I like the Starion IC for budget setups, I always modify the endtanks though.
As for the Viggen IC reffered to in this post:

I think he said his family gets discounts, thats why it was so cheap. If anyone can get it that cheap though it's a Hell of a deal.
If you're on a tight budget look into the tyrus IC's, they arent a bad deal, unless you can find a used Starion(conquest) IC.
