Has anybody purchased an engine through http://www.attarco.com ?
They have free delivery to bay area peoples, decent prices, and 6 month unlimited mile warranty on block, head and tranny.

I was quoted $650 for a JDM engine and tranny for my 92 VX.

Any info will help.

i've nvever personally bought anything from them but i've been to their wharehouse.... a majority of honda motors(long blocks) dont have sensors or IM.... its the bare long block.....

now.. this is what i've seen with my eyes and its a while ago... so i would recomend you drive up to berekely and pick one out(unless you really want their asses to drop; it off )

there's another shop in oakland that i bought my b16a from like two 1\2 years ago... they'll let you go to the back and pick your own motor out...

what motor are you buying? just curious....

Right now its mainly 2 transmissions that I need, one for an 89 DX hatch and one for a 92 VX hatch.
I would like to do a B16A(ODB-1) swap in to the 92 vx eventually(probably 5-8 months from now) but am unsure of where to go for the engine.
I have heard a lot of really great things said about http://www.hmotorsonline.com but then some people had left horror stories about them. So far I am thinking that those kids are whining little bitches still livining at home and mom and dad are paying for it. But who knows.

Any local bay area businesses providing B16A engines?
