gsr intermediate shaft in a 92 hatch?
I used a GSR...The important thing is that you use the correct axle/intermediate shaft combo. GSR and LS axles are different. You can't use a LS axle and gsr interm shaft. same with the opposite. Just amke sure to get a gsr axle and not LS.
Ok I think I overlooked something.
Does this car have a B series motor. If not, then use a D series IS, and not a GSR IS.
You cannot use D series axles with a B series motor.

Bullshit. They are not the same. I know because I went through this whole ordeal.
GSR intermediate shafts have a male end. In order to accept this male end, the axle must have a female end. An LS intermediate shaft has a female end, therefore its axle has a male end. Don't tell me I'm spreading misinformatoin when I went through the problem already and fixed... 1st HAND THANK YOU .
BTW, I don't take lightly someone telling me that I am spreading mis info when I know for a fact I'm right. The axles are the same length, but not the same axle.
Thank you drive through.

Well Mr. Bullshit. You are wrong why don't you go here http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/ and take a look. On top of that I have worked at A Honda/Acura wrecking yard for the last three years and I know for a fact that they are the same. Get your **** straight and DRIVE-THRU.
Say waht you want. I did the work on my own, by myself. I bought TWO seperate intermediate shafts. I have no reason to lie. Why would I? Just to be right in a somewhat "arguement" online. Not hardly.
Like I said. I did teh work by myself. I had two seperate DRIVERS SIDE AXLES. THe ends that attach to the intermediate shaft are different. The axle length IS the same, but the part that attaches to the intermediate shaft IS different, plain and simple.

Actually, i'm not sure why it didn't work for you waffles, but the ls and gs-r axles are the same.....I do a lot of swap at my shop and we have used ls axles and gs-r intermediate shaft and vice versa with no problems. Of course we are talking about 94+ ls and gs-r axles and 94+ intermediate shaft. The 90-93 ls and 92-93 gs-r axles will not fit on the 94+ intermediate shaft.

Now this has me wondering, as I was 100% sure that the LS IS that I had was a 94 and up. Like I said, I have no reason to lie, I did the work myself, and I am just trying to help the guy. The only thing I can think of is
A) I am right, you are wrong, or
B) You are right, and I was lied to when I got my original axle/IS.......

Hey Waffles,
No harshness meant or taken. Is it possible you were given an automatic intermediate shaft, because from what you are describing I think that's what the case was.
