Default Irratic Idle Holley Throttle Body To Blame

Well, I sould have searched on the TB instead of Idle and I would have got to this months ago.

Holley 68mm Throttle Body $375.

I took my charge pipe off, and Let the Car Run up to temp. I plugged the little holes trying to make the damn idle go right and i rev it up and here we go. up and down. so i took my finger and pressed up on the plate inside and the idle corrected it self. The Plate had not been closing right. so i tood it all apart and ajusted the alan head screws on the plate and did that 2 or 3 times back and forth and i think i have it right now. filled the coolant back up and the car idles at 1k from 1500-2200.

So after 3 months of Stress and not wanting to drive the car anywheres i think i kicked it. if it comes back im giving the TB the boot.

ALSO, anyone out there with a 68mm TB that works great??? I might just go to a 65mm JG. My friend had one on his civic and it was like OEM. I have seen bbk and a few others. Fill Me In

Check your TPS voltage should be .49volts at idle and 4.5volts wide open throttle, make sure it is on the money and also mes with your idle air screw and you should get it right, I thought my Holley was JUNK, it stuck all the time, I have an STR 68mm now but will see how it works if not then the stok goes back in Good luck.
