Default 5th Gen 95 accord EX exhaust

I was wondering that if I bought this exhaust (below), would I have to change my piping or get anything changed at all? Does anybody have any suggestions? Also, would it be okay if I just put the new muffler on as is? I want a new exhaust, but one that looks sort of stock, but bigger and louder, and more powerful. tell me what you think. thanks!

uhm, link doesnt work...but just slapping a muffler onto your stock exhaust isn't really gonna do **** for power. it'll make your car sound meaner, but what's the point of having a meaner sounding car when it aint in the least bit faster than stock? get the whole exhaust or dont do anything till you can afford to invest in mod's that'll actually help your car perform better.

an intake would be around the same price as a muffler and at least then you'll have some gains, and a meaner tone.

well, what do you suggest. like something cheap, but you know, powerful. i'm only looking to spend like $100 on muffler and then i guess like $100 more on whatever else i need to add power to exhaust. can you help me out a little. also, thanks a lot for all the help. i've seen your posts in many of the threads i've searched and everything you've said has been right on. so thanks. but yeah, let me know.

well, if you get the muffler, you can get custom 2.25" piping done for about $80 if you look around, you'll notice some gains after that. i'd highly recommend getting a resonator put on at the same time however, it'll be about $25 and a little extra for the install, but your exhaust will sound so much better and you wont have to worry about that annoying buzzing noise, it'll also give your exhaust a much deeper tone.

if money is an issue just get the piping and muffler done for now, you can always get the resonator later, but i guarantee you the sound will get annoying after a while.

as far as the muffler goes, just get whatever suits your style, a straight-thru design will have less restriction but with a custom exhaust it doesnt really matter what muffler you get, since it's not tuned for performance and power gains vary depending on how well the piping is done.

I wouldn't spend any money on my exaust without piping. 2.25" will give decent gains plus a resonator will take away the "Rice" factor. Intake + Exaust is best upgrade for the money.

you can get resonators and piping (crush bend) and pretty much any muffler shop, but the link above has resonators and custom mandrel bent piping which will be a little more costly, but you'll get better flow.
