Default Hondata Owners

Can I install a basic S200 with boost by myself? How hard is it? Did anybody run into any problems installing the system?

If you know how to chip a ECU you will have no problem with Hondata. Its not hard, you will need a decent desoldering and soldering iron.

Well my ecu is already chipped and I have the S200 with boost. Matter fact the P28 I have has the OBD II connector so I don't need the wire hareness. But what about the push button and shift light how hard is that?

thats all pritty entrylevel stuff. and your unit should have come with instructions, but if you are doubting your ablity, it might be worth it to have a dealer do it.

The push button and 3step control plugs directly into the Hondata interface box (external the ECM) not difficult at all.

Just in case this may help. It really is pretty easy. The chipping of the ECU is the hardest part IMO.
