Default Adjust Valves....how often?

I have a 1997 Honda Odyssey, 4-cyl. from Japan.
How often do I need to adjust the valves.
Dealer says every 30,000.
Was done at 34,000. Now has 83,000. Runs fine, sounds fine.
My wife drives it .... never revs the engine much.
Thanks

really depends on how you drive the car. With your wife granny driving, most likely they are fine. Usually they get out of spec cause you take your motor to redline a lot, putting a lot of heat + stress on valves.
