my car has been turbocharged for 3 months now and i haven't got the chance to drive other turbo cars especially honda in my life for me to make a comparison.

for 3 months, it's been only twice where my car drives the greatest. on those 2 occassions, the car really feels fast and it feels so light. you can actually feel the car "moving". it was amazing that i couldn't forget about it. but majority of the time, it doesn't feel this way and i don't have any idea if it's normal or not.

there's no problem with the car that i know of. actually, it still pulls hard and fast but not as fast as those 2 occassions that i couldn't forget.

could it be the weather, i live in a place with tropical climate so it's warm most of the time? but it's a bit colder these days coz of the rain but it still doesn't feel like those 2 occassions. could it be the turbo? or could be the engine? or maybe it's just normal? anybody experienced this?

btw, the car is a 2000 SiR with a nissan T28 turbo boosting .54psi using the hack.

any inputs will be appreciated.

 

I've been wondering the exact same thing. It's not as noticeable in 1st and 2nd; those first two gears seem to always pull hard. 3rd is a different story. Sometimes it feels sooo fast, but othertimes I wonder if my car is even boosted. It just seems to fall flat on its face. I've always shrugged it off as the weather.

btw, are you sure the boost wasn't creeping during those two magical runs of yours?

 

nope it wasn't creeping at all. same boost level then as todays. i also just shrugged it off as the weather but i still couldn't forget those two good runs.

 

my car runs good everyday.
