The smsp cat has 2 bungs for the o2 sensor just like the stock cat. When I recived the smsp cat one of the bungs was covered with a bolt. So I installed one o2 sensor on the header and one on the cat. (hope thats right)
Then I turned the car on and got check engine.. then realized that the o2 sensor was not plugged in on the primary.. turned off the engine off and crawled underneath and plugged it in.. turned the engine on again.. still check engine light remains on.. just went for a test drive anyways.... OMG sweet
anyways should I give the check engine light to turn off itself? or reset my ecu now? ... what are my options..
Thanks to alan909, he helped me get this bitch on my car
.. finished around 2am.. not to mention he has work today

whats the best way to reset the ecu? unplug the positive plug on the battery?
There's a fuse that you can unplug and plug back. You have to look in the fuse panel under the hood. I'm not exactly sure which fuse it is though....I know I had to do that so my check engine light would go off.

Your ECU was in limp mode which is why you had a weird idle...you also probably could not got past 6K RPM either. Correct?
How much of a difference did the header make?
