I'm replacing the front bumper cover on my 95 Integra GSR (due to a recent accident), but I don't know how to get the off correctly - I'd like to be able to reuse it, rather than buy another one. I couldn't find instructions in my Helms manual, and I couldn't find it after searching several forums here. If someone could point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it.

 

can't u just pry it off with a screwdriver? just be careful

There's an excellent chance that I can...I just wasn't sure if the emblem would end up damaged by going that route, so I was looking for other solutions.

Worse case scenario, how much does a new emblem cost anyways? Not much, I'm guessing.

 

use dental floss or fishing line to get behind it and seperate it from the bumper and double sided tape

Yeah, but still, you never know. I ordered a replacement "dohc vtec" emblem for the rear, and it was $15 at A&H! I can only imagine what it would have cost at a local dealer. $15 buys plenty of .

 

quit being a cheap bastard and buy a new one if you can't figure out how to remove an emblem..geez...i'd hate to see you do any serious work on your car..

use a credit card and slide it under the corner then just pry it, thats what i did to mine.
