What rating does the JDM Type R motor have coming straight from Japan? Does anyone know stock? THanks in advance..

rubbing my crystal ball..i see the future of honda engine swaps..rsx type r motor in a honda insight...

 

And ps is 98%,correct?

 

i think about that everytime i see an insight.. imagine a silver one with spoon wheels.. removed fender covers in the rear.. cf hood and a 220hp motor.. 1 race seat.. gutted interior, no carpet, seats etc.. except front dashboard.. slammed.. damn that woud look tiite.. and you can still keep the "hybrid" sticker in the rear that the car comes with

but again thats an expensive project..

 

How does 200ps differ from 195 crank? Whats the relation? I have heard its about 5 more whp.. might be wrong though.

Ours are 195hp theres are about 3-4 hp more
