Default VTEC actvating rpm and redline on a d16z6?

i have a z6 head on a 91 CRX Si block and i'll need to set up my rpm switch to activate VTEC. what is the rpm at which the VTEC kicks in on the d16z6 ('92 civic Si) ? should i set it to be the same on my CRX? and what are the redline and fuel cut-off rpms on that motor?

I heard you should activate the vtec on them around 4650-5000rpm and i think the redline is about 7200 but not 100%sure on that...

Stock redline on a d16a6 Si motor 89-91 CRX is 7100 rpm..as for the d16z6, i think you are right, 7200 is the redline.

I think all the replies are on track. The only comments I have are fuel cuttoff on the z6 is 7500. I had mine there way to many times. The vtec activation could be varied though depending what your doing. What I mean is if your racing set it lower say 4000. If your just driving to work leave it at 5500.
