d16a6 vtec or not?

i thought that the d16z6 was the vtec. i am looking at a shell of a 91 si it got a d16z6 and l3 tranny?

The D16Z6 is a SOHC VTEC, from the 92-95 ex and si. It is rated at 125hp.
