Compression has to do with a lot more than just the pistons; like headgasket, cc volume, etc

SO can i take the vx piston and put it in a 91 Si d16a6 block.. and that should give me lower comp.. from what i have heard.. is this true...
said to be 8.1 comppression in a older SI block..
anyone heard of this
