does anyone know where i can get a valve cover that is cut in half circles on the cam gear side to show the cam gears? how much?

i dont want to have to cut the whole valve cover cam gear side. i rather have it look fitted to show the cam gears and not be too open for safety precautions.

i cant seem to find a place that sells the valve cover cut up already that way...

 

people do that themselves, i believe. bust out the rotozip!

 

moroso makes a valve cover with removable end caps. The retail for 350!

 

yeah...you can't buy one like that. you either do it or pay someone. it's easy but i'm sure like me, anyone would do it for money. just make sure to use a new gasket and bushings or at least use gasket maker on the old one and also for the bolt bushings so you don't get leaks because they suck. while it's off, you might as well paint or polish it or something.

 

i put my valve cover back on after i installed the cam gears... ill probably put gasket maker on it after i get it cut and polished. not too hard to take off... so i can always do it... but i gotta be careful of leaks.

that would be a good product to make out there... a valve cover pre-cut and outlined to the diameter of the cam gears. alot better than just chopping off the cam gear side of the valve cover.
