Default My latest mod. $50 Basstube! Pics inside!

I have been wanting a little bass (w/o adding an external amp) for my Hybrid (Eg/GSR) since the 6 1/2's up front just aren't made for those low frequency notes.

Picked this 8" basstube up from Circuit City for $50:

It's a Rampage which is made by Audiovox. I like the adjustable bass **** on the tube, but it just not "boomy" enough I can now put my bass all the way down on the deck and still have some bass with the tube

I have 30 days to return or exchange it. I think I am going to exchange it for the bazooka 10" and see how it sounds. I may eventually get up to Infinity bass-link

$50:
Bass: (It's 10X better than just the 6 1/2's)
Overall:
Bass outside the car:

I just can't afford the Infinity bass-link right now ($225 I believe on ebay). Tein's, Alarm, gauges for the motor, etc.....

Oh, and probably weighs 10lbs :-)

i like my basslink. it's not bad for an all-in-one 10. but then again my car still has full-interior and stock exhaust

and it does weigh around 10lbs.

Find a bazooka bass tube with a blown-out sub and replace it with a nice 10'' and I think you'll be satified. It seems like the one you got probly doesn't have enough power.

those tubes are garbege, the bass they produce is terrible. your money can be spent on other audio components with better results.

I picked up a used Powered Bazooka 8" tube (for $75) - it sounds Great. Only 150w - but it sounds Great in my reg cab toyota tacoma ~~ Bazooka DONT SUK - they were made to add a lil bass w/o sounding overbearing... thats just what they do!
**ohh yeah & u can deff hear tha bass outside tha truck***

As for tha Infinity basslink- my friend has that in his 944turbo -- i gotta say it sounds pretty damn good... Pounds alot more than my tube... although it was also like $175 more than my tube.. so there u go...

I have the bass link...got that bad boy for 220 at circuit..open box with all the wiring and everything.....save ur money and don't waste time on those other lil crappy tubes...let me tell you the bass link is all worth it....it hits sooo hard for that lil thing and it weights like 15 lbs...two 10's i believe w/ 200 rms and 400 max power. Has a wired remote bass ****. I have it set all the way down and my head unit in the middle and it hits really hard. I guess it helps a lot that i have a hatchback too so all you hear is the bass
