Default what year GSR should i buy

I'm going to be purchasing a new GSR and wonder what year you guys think would be best. I hope to find one stock or close to stock so I can do all the work myself. $ is no object and I plan to do a lot with performance and appearance. Thanks in advance for the feedback

since you had a '98, why not go with the 94-97 bodies? Personally i like the '98+ style better..but you can't go wrong with neither.

Get a 99 or 99, because the obd1 gsr (94-95) the average mileage is around 100-120k miles. No sense in buying a 96-97 because your still with the old body style and now the car is obd2, So my choice is the 98-99 because you can find some with 40-70k for a little over 10 grand.

Has nice cosmetic mods already done. Plus money left over to do whatever you want.

Can anyone tell me why I'm still a trial user on H-T? I've been a member for like 3 months now and I can't PM anyone or post in the For-sale forum. Please help! Thanks again.

I've seen an occasional G2 GSR in mint shape for less than $7k.. now that's a deal

Otherwise I'd go with a 98+ personally. OBD-I is just an ECU swap away
