Default My Baseline Dyno and Timeslip...

My R is bone stock and has only approx. 2700 miles, as far as the Timeslip, Bandimere Speedway here in Colorado is well over 5,000 feet in elevation. It is rare for me to see stock Type R's hit 15.9's here, in fact I've seen several run, one with AEM intake, and they are usuall only running 16.00's and slower. So I'm personally happy with my time and am confident next time out I'll have it down a few tenths more when I stop getting mad wheelhop most of the way through 1st.
Any comments suggestions etc. on either the timeslip or Dyno are appreciated.
Thanks. Oh yeah, my times are on the left
M

good for you. You are making exactly what you should be. I too know about the whoas of high elevation. It sucks telling people you run a 14.7 and having them look at you like you are slow. My elevation 5000 feet +.

d00d! You did a 12.5@108? That's awesome for that elevation! When my R was stock I was doing 11.3s at street level. Now I'm doing 14.3s. Hoping for more later... :D

I had a problem with wheelhop too when I was using stock tires. Now I use Toyo RA1s or Kumho Victoracers or whatever I'm running at the track. I think they help, but it might be the suspension too. Hrm...

Wheelhop sucks. My ashtray flew out the first time I did quarter mile stuff.

That was the car that was along side him that ran that time.
He ran the 15 which is fine and dandy for how high up he is.

I ran my ITR at the track last night for the first time, very disappointing... I have an aem intake w/crappy "bypass valve" and an otherwise stock R with 6500mi.

I botched both runs, first one bogged at the light, second one spun too much.

First run was a 15.0@93, .510 light, 2.3 60', and a slow shift into 5th(didn't even need to )

Second run was a 15.1, .503 light(!), but waaay too much spin through first. 2.4 60' and hit the limiter in 3rd...

Man, i'm sticking to dragging the lude from now on. I've concluded that this car is not intended to be drag raced. My poor, balding re010's...

(i'll be at pocono though!! )
