Default Explain to me what is a NON Sprung disc clutch ??

Can someone explain to me what is non sprung clutch disc, I know it has not spring, but what's the difference and + ou - ? Also, what is the use of using a non-oem pressure plate when using 4 or 6 puck act clutch... i really don't like the hard pedal and was wondering what can happen if I use the oem pressure plate.

Thanks

Well an unsprung disc is just that, no srpings which cause a harsher engagement.
And the use of an OEM pressure plate is not good if you are making a lot more power and torque than a stock . It will probably not last very long.

The torsional springs in the clutch allow it to flex a little to absorb some of the shock of engagement. I don't really understand why, but I guess the four puck and six puck clutches can hold more torque.
