Default Competition Clutch or ACT?

I am having a hard time choosing a clutch kit for my 99 lude SH. I think I have narrowed it down to these two. On ebay there is a ACT clutch kit w/ (HD) pressure plate and spring loaded organic street disc for $330. There is also a clutch kit by Competition Clutch w/ (HD) pressure plate and 6 puck sprung hub racing disc for $330. I have read/heard that a spring loaded disc is better for a daily driver than non-sprung. Anybody heard good things about Competition Clutch? Any imput would be greatly appreciated

P.S. Good thing I have a car cover for my lude w/ these brush fires in diego, ash sucks!

Unless you are putting out alot of power these clutch options are just overkill. Stick with OEM.

a personal experience here for you and i will never own an act again. my 6 puck wore itself out in 3 mos and that wasn't a lot of hard driving. exedy and spec both make good clutches, i guess it really depends on the amount of torque you're pushing.

I don't know what you did to it... but I've SCCA and Drag'ed mine, along with being daily driven for almost.... 10 months now (a good 15,000-20,000 miles) and it's fine. Even took it to pittsburgh 3 times and hit the big city rush hour traffic (which btw, did such VERY much lol)

I had a act in my prelude and loved it, took the beating of the supercharger with no problems at all.
