I am getting a XS Engineering GTR skyline core which measures almost exactly the same size as the apexi GTR skyline core. Now I see that apex-i has end tanks which they sale which they make for CORE 2 which I believe is the apexi gtr intercooler. They have the Tank 1 and Tank 2 and I am assuming the difference between the two is endtank inlet/outlet placement but I can't say for sure as I can't find anyone who knows or any pics AT ALL on the internet. Only the serial numbers which are

531-B010 buy Tank 1 (Core 2) $60
531-B020 buy Tank 2 (Core 2)

So... will these fit a 24x11x3" intercooler and anyone know the inlet/outlet inside diameter of them as well as the placement of the inlet/outlet?

 

I found out the inlet/outlet size is 2.75" on the end tanks, so all I need to know is the design difference between the Tank 1 and Tank 2?
