Speed World challenge Car
Last month my driver/owner decides that since the motor I built was doing so well, hey lets let him start all over with a new car. I don't know if you guy's know but JUN USA went under. Well they where our motor sponsors last year and let me tell you I think a little kid can build a better motor. Last month while driving in HPDE ( Fun Run !) at sears point he was hit by an open wheel car which sent him into the wall.. ouch..! Well he walked away with a broken nose and a dizzy head. So I decided that i will share the new car build up with you guy's. This is a speed world challenge touring class car. The car I am using is a 1999 honda dx coupe bought for 500 dollars at an auction . I think i might have fun with this.
well i was tring to post pictures, can someone tell me how do i transfer files off of a disk onto the page.

Looks like it. Wonder if that was done during extraction or due to the force of impact?

In DC, it occassionally happens on open test days before a WDCR-SCCA event. The first session is mixed (since most people aren't there, the track is fairly open). It's scary.

it was one of those legend cars. Yeah the car should not have been out there. I was not there, but those legend car are much slower, and my driver had picked his line, and the slower legen car moved right into him. I was told our car was running faster then most of the ASA were running that day, and so that turn is one of if not the fastest turn.

i think they are they are 17x7.5 i believe. No full lock we get no rub. we pull the fenders out a little and cut the inter lip out and that solves the rubbing on the fender. as for the wheel well, we spray paint it black and when the car comes in and the driver complains about rubbing we can see where the paint has been rubbed off, and its nothing a hammer does not fix.
