Default need help cant find the hole

I cant find a hole in the firewall to run my power wire from my battery to the inside can someone tell me where you ran yours from its a 99 civic coupe do I have to drill one if so where, thanks please reply asap I doing the wiring as I write

If the battery is up against the firewall on the passenger side, theres a nice big one just below it and towards the center of the vehicle. If you're crafty, you can get at it without taking the battery out...

There is a rubber grommet behind the battery. Cut a little hole in the middle with a knife or scissors, and shove your line through.

"bells ringing" that is the correct answer. you should easily be able to fit atleast a 4ga wire through the grommet.

no really, there was this gromit on my prelude on driver's side next to the fuse box. it doesn't go through the firewall, but into the wheel well. so i ran power into that, then into the interior through another gromit behind the kick panel by the passenger's right foot. this gromit is used by all wires going into the door. problem is, if you use these two gromits, make sure you have a good seal around the wires. water can get inside the wheelwell, but isn't a problem with the firewall gromits. use some goop or something, expanding foam, whatever. don't let your carpets get flooded in a heavy rain.
