Default Slid into a curb, need advise...

The other night I slid into a curb with my rear passanger side wheel. The wheel now sits like /. I got under it today to check it out and both the upper and lower arms are shot, and the rear cross beam is twisted. Is my car done for? I'm wondering if this is repairable, or if I should just call it into insurance. I'm afraid the whole frame might be twisted because when I open the center console it rubs against my drivers side seat. Anyways, any advise or input would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, sounds like you bent the frame. Hitting a curb is NEVER good. The car will pretty much never be the same.

How did you hit a curb?? You must have been going pretty fast.

If it is repairable, it would cost somewhere around 2-4k. This happened to me on day while dogding some kids on bikes( ) in my old 92 accord and it cost about 2500

damn bro. That was either a big curb or you were going over 90. I attempted taking a sharp turn that goes way dowhill at 100 one day lost control brought it to a fishtale almost had control, I was at about 85 now and then lost control completely flying over curb. ruined one wheel and bent the frame slightly, due to the angle I hit the curb at(there is equipment these days to fix this) It used to mean your car was totalled when you bent the frame.

But I didnt bend it anything like what you have described....

My car is a '94. I just got back from the shop I'm taking it to. The guy hasn't looked at it yet but he says he's seen similar cases and has never seen a lude unibody bend. He said that either me or my passanger may have knocked the console loose when we were turning, so I'm hoping thats the case. I was probably doing somewhere between 20 and 40 when we hit. Just a case of stupidity and bad luck/judgement.

next time take those corners slower and do it unless you have a reason to be going that fast. Also try not to get yourself killed bro go to the junkyard and see what you can find shouldnt be that hard and shop around and ask for different prices just whatever you do,dont go to the honda dealer. Pockets may be owned!
