Default Please critique my oilpan bung (56k warning..pics inside)

Hey guys, I got my oilpain bung welded in yesterday. I just wanted to get feedback on the configuration I chose.

I've read Maximum Boost 1.5 times and I know the line is supposed to be gravity fed, but the guy who welded this up for me has quite a bit of experience (10 years) with turbos and said I should be fine. I trust the guy but I'm having 2nd thoughts -- maybe I should have had the bung angled upwards? My hose will come straight down off the turbo and then I'll be using some custom mounts to hold the last portion of the hose at a downward angle where it hits the bung.

This is for the Greddy 92-95 Civic turbo kit on a ZC CRX.

Ok, onto the pics.

Thanks for any feedback.

You're fine, looks good to me. Just make sure your drain line goes straight down and not at a gradual angle.

perfect location. if i were you id go ahead and spend the money now ad use an anfitting and some a -10 stainless line to avoid future problems with leaks and rubber hose failure. you can buy the adapter flang for the turbo allth lines and fittings for under 75 bucks for sure and probably under 50 bucks in all honesty. you will kick yourself later if you dont do it.

you're fine. It looks good and it will do the jopb just fine. Focus on the line itself to make sure that it has a straight down path

Wow, thanks for all the great responses guys. I was worried I'd get back to my desk and see a bunch of responses like "Oh no! You put it in the wrong location" or "You're screwed dude!!"

(whew!!)

I'll follow your advice and make sure my line goes straight down. I'll probably end up buying some earl's black anodized AN fittings soon w/ SS line, since I like the looks, durability and protection they offer.
Thanks again
