Default Some quick FI opinions for my ZC

Hey guys. Here's my dilema. I have a DOHC ZC going into my Crx next month.

Originally, I was planning on doing the whole home made turbo thing. So far I have an HF manifold, boost and a/f gauges, gauge pod, oil feed/return lines. So i have a start, but hardly what i'd call a "setup"...heh.

Although I've been a member for a couple years now, I'm not scared to admit that my experience with cars is somewhat minimal. I've never done anything major to my car, and this of course includes anything FI related.

My dilema is that I'm considering scrapping the turbo idea and putting that stuff on ebay and going the route of a ZEX wet kit.

I know a good ammount about turbocharging, and my best friend has turboed his Crx multiple times. Problem is that i've moved out of state and i don't have anybody (friends included) around me that know the ins and outs of home made turbo kits along with install precedures and comments problems.

I'm not looking for crazy power, and I realize that in the long run, a turbo setup would be the "ideal" way to go (in most people's opinions)...but i'm somewhat hesitant. I've been looking into nitrous for a while, and getting informed in that field as well (...well...as "informed" as one can get without hands on experience and simply using literature...heh.).

It seems like a ZEX wet kit would be a whole lot easier to install...for somebody like myself. Another thing I must take into account is that I work all the time, so down time on my car must be minimal...as it's my daily driver.

Do any of you guys have some helpful advice? I feel like it's a waste selling my turbo stuff that I have...but at the same time i want to be cautious about my car. After all, i don't want to **** up a brand new (to me) DOHC ZC motor.

Should i just nut up and be a man...and finish the turbo stuff? How difficult should it be...and how long would it take (i know that's a very VERY vauge question..) assuming that all the parts/tools are ready and waiting.

Or...should i go the "easy" route and go for the ZEX kit? Again, i'm not looking for crazy power...but something to make the Crx a little bit more peppy.

-Cody

Depends...

If the install is the only thing youre sweating, go turbo, it's not that hard at all.
