AP Calipers for Type-R
Sorry to the moderators on the board....
But I'm juss seeing if anybody would be interested in buying my set of AP Calipers for the Type-R?
They will fit under the factory 15in. wheel if you use a 6mm spacer...OR if you are already using 16in. wheels.
Comes with a set of HAWK Blue pads with a good 75% of life left. Comes with mounting brackets to bolt up to the knuckles.
If you are interested, please email me! Asking 1500CAD shipped.

pat, are these the ones that were sitting on display at a&j racing?
how do they compare with spoon calipers?
does 6mm require extended studs?

Ben these are NOT the ones that were at AJR....
They were a set that I bought before.... 6mm should require extended studs....
but if you were to put it on your car that wouldn't be necessary.....
cuz you run 16inch. I think for your app. YOu should stick to Spoon.
and these are not the 6pistons.... they are the 4piston....

They are not Hawke blues, they are HP+'s.
They were mine; but now they are not.
I designed the first kit, this one that is for sale, to work with the stock wheel setup. However, a 6mm extension of the wheel stud is suspect in how long the studs will last with the extended loads they will experience.
You emailed me on how to make them work, for yourself. If you are now choosing to sell them on this board, I think it is only appropriate you tell everyone what I told you about the problems associated with making them work on an R.
It is not the moderators you should be apologizing to here, it is me.
I do not appreciate spending time in helping YOU out, where you turn around (probably after deciding it was going to be too expensive to do properly) and trying to flog this gear on someone else without telling them (or anyone) the full story I told you.
Not good my man, I find that very disapointing.
Anyways to make a long story very short, whoever decides to by this stuff, drop me a line because it is not a bolt in endeavour; be prepared to spend twice the cost of the kit to make it work properly.

No disrespect or misinformation intended to any of the users here particularly those who expressed interest in this kit.
And if it is an apology you want Andrew...then here it is.... I apologize for being so intrusive on your time...Thanks for clearing up the brake pad thing.
The kit originally went to somebody locally....but after he took them off my hands and I TOLD him the fitment issues, he decided to test fit them and now he no longer wants them. If anything, I'm just trying to help him get the word out....

Fair enough, I can appreciate getting the word out. What I do not appreciate is mis-information being spread, especially after I took the time to sort it out for YOU; as it was YOU who led me to believe that YOU were putting them on YOUR car.
There is also no need to be sarcastic, or try and direct some type of ill feeling towards me. I do not need, or have any inkling for, patronizing comments. I took the time to to help you because I know you, and I can appreciate what it was you were supposedly trying to do.
Now, it appears that a) you were not trying to do it at all, and b) you bullshit me.
So that suggests, to me, you don't even have the respect to give me the real story, nor anyone else on this board.
All things considered, Pat, it always pays to be honest and up front on the outset, it will save you a great deal of face (and embarrasment) in the future. And as an added bonus, you won't **** people like me off.

guess we missed something in the original intent, and then in the apology... might want to take this off line... I've made the mistake of airing out business on the board before... doesn't look good for either side...
