Anything I have to watch out for other than covering the intercooler?
or should I just get bus/train tickets?

hell no! i didnt spend 30k to have some noob texan, or califorian **** it up. when they move up here (denver) with there bling-bling in full efect, they dont bother to think that summer tires wont work in the snow. so they all buy studs, **** up our roads, and slam in to me when they panic in a slide. but yes i do still drive in the snow, an '85 s15 jimmy. with plenty of rust.

forgot to add..

where I live gets REALLY cold.. and if that cold, wouldn't it make engine run lean? I thought, by covering the intercooler makes it run not too cold..

I sure drive in the winter with the turbo! I just slap a set of Dunlop WS-50's and it's all good!

No neg 35 degrees here but I love how the car pulls when it's in the low 20's ........nicely compared the norm of 65-70
