DRAG Pros:

Great power
Low price
Awesome intercooler
Comes with HKS SS BOV

DRAG Cons:

Fuel system decent but only good for 8psi.
Oil return setup sucks (not hard to do it right, though)
Manifold works, but I could handle slightly better quality
Chromed piping gets really hot under the hood
Deltagate sucks (easily replaced with a Tial)

Revhard Pros:

Almost the exact same kit as DRAG, look above.
Awesome manifold, much better than DRAG IMO.
Non-chromed piping stays cool under the hood

Revhard Cons:

Non-chromed piping does not look as cool
Intercooler is sort of boxy and ugly
Same fuel system as DRAG
No intake filter OR intake filter piping

F-max Pros:

Nice manifold.
Good build quality.

F-max Cons:

More expensive.

Fuel setup is not a good idea, IMO. It uses an AIC to inject fuel before the throttle body. This means you get gasoline in your vacuum hoses and other miscellaneous areas. Also, the injectors can stay on with the throttle plate is closed and fuel can accumulate in the intake tract. Fuel is not guaranteed to go to each cylinder equally. People say that it is reliable, but every person I have heard that uses the stock F-max fuel setup ends up blowing their motor past 10psi, ask tons of people on clubsi (not that they are the best examples of motor reliability over there)

Overall, get a DRAG or Revhard kit and you will be very happy.

Dustin

GEt the drag for sure. Upgrade the wastegate and run a better fuel system. All manifolds are going to crack from the heat....just get the drag coated.

i think this is the most popular question that i have seen on this forum. SHEESH!

go DRAG3! its just a better kit overall and cheaper. fuel is satisfactory but it runs rich. however, its do-able. Revhard is similar... but it doesnt look as pretty. FMAX fuel system sucks. they charge too much for their kits.

Cool thanks guyz what fuel system you think i should run?? How much psi do you think i can run on stock internals without blowin the motor? Remember the GSR CR is 10:0:1 its high so will it handle the boost like around 6psi or 8psi??? Also about the deltagate do you think i be fine for a while runin the stock one that came with the Drag kit? Cuz i'm on lowwwwww budget and can't really get every aftermarket parts right away. About the intercooler is it big enuff to cover the mid section near the radiator? What kind of intercooler come with it? Thanks for the help agian guyz. Do you think i need to upgrade my spark plugs? I'm runin on the factory one not sure what it is. I think its the Boshc Platinum?? Is it necessary to get Ignition system like msd 6al etc?? Oh yeah since gsr CR is high whats the best CR pistons you guyz think i should get around 9:1? JE? Thanks.

you can run a long time on the original drag parts. theres not too much to upgarde w/ "aftermarket parts."

you might want to save up more, because no matter how safe a kit is, trouble can always happen. wouldn't want to be stranded w/o a car!

I chose the drag 3 w/ ball bearing. For a slightly lesser price, I threw out the intercooler, FMU, fuel pump and deltagate. I upgraded those items to a XS Skyline GTR core, Hondata management system with 550cc injectors, Bosch fuel pump and Tial wastegate. It is my opinion that this is going to be a very powerful and reliable setup, along with my golden eagle prepared block and other add ons. A lot of what I did is overkill for what I hope to accomplish (350whp) but I'd rather aim low and surprise the **** outta myself than aim high and be dissapointed. Of all the kits I've worked with, DRAG and Rev Hard are right at the top of a short list. If you use a proper fuel system, either can make fantastic power. Good luck.
