1992 Honda Accord DX
I have a 92 Accord DX, and i was wondering, wuts the best upgrade for it? and the cheapest upgrade, i just got a muffler, and a brand new interior. Wut would be the best upgrade for this nice piece? and... When i go from first to second, my clutch alwayz grinds... well most of the time, if i dont take it slow, wut can that be?
well **** i aint no azn here, im fkin white, i dont know much about these imports, i just got one for my first time, dam boi, watch out, you got an exaust sytem up ur kulo or sumthin? I just want a question awnsered, tardo
First off, stop writing like that. It's annoying as **** to read, and people will be less likely to help you.
Secondly, you have three basic routes to go. You can try and go turbo, you can do an H22A swap, or you can do the traditional Intake/Headers/Exhaust route.
If you're not mechanically adept, you shouldn't try to put on a turbo. It will involve lots of tuning time and skill. However, it is good bang for the buck, and some DSMs have turbo parts that work with Accords, so you can get some of the parts from the junkyard.
H22A swap from a Prelude. It's been covered to death. Expensive, but a good route to take.
Cheapest route is to just do the intake, headers and exhaust. The EX intake manifold and exhaust header is a decent boost, and could probably be had cheap from a junkyard. But you won't get big power increases. A cold air intake would round out the upgrades nicely.
Honestly though, don't bother. Save your money and either get a swap or a newer car. It's only worth it if you plan on keeping the car a decent time.
