I was loving it when Toyota had the top two spots. Too bad they couldn't hold on - though they ended up with respectable finishes.
this is the first season in 5-6 years that is not totally boring. the ferrari/mclaren supremacy was getting WAY too old. too bad JPM can't do in F1 what he did his first season in CART. i'd love to see M. Schumacher dethroned and the action mixed up a bit. only in Britain do they have naked streakers. when's the shoe commercial coming out?

i would dispute that. he has never shown the ability to be consistent through an entire race. i still belive it should have been him that was shown the door at renault last year and not button. but i guess that's what happens when j00r manager runs the team. smells very much like another recent F1 situation that shall finally be rectified next year.
and i second the consensus that yesterday's race was amazing.

Renault has made some terrible decisions recently in terms of which drivers they keep. Two years ago it was Fisi and Button, Fisi was much faster yet they dumped him, and went with Button and Trulli. That year Button was faster yet they dumped him, and went with Trulli and Alonso. If they stick with this precedent, they have to get rid of Alonso next year! LOL!

WOW, what a race!
I was finally able to catch it last night 1am-3:30am.
Best f1 race I can remember seeing in a long time

I don't really keep up with the rules and things, which ones are you talking about?

INCREDIBLE RACE!!!
Was awesome finally getting to see the top contenders having to battle their way back up to the top from the back of the pack.
Anyone see that Jaguar finally dropped Pizzonia after this event and picked up Justin Williams from Minardi?

"To the great regret of Jaguar Racing, Antonio Pizzonia has not been able to realise his potential with the team over the past eleven races," the team said in a statement. "Jaguar Racing therefore has decided that it is neither in his best interests, nor in the team’s, for Antonio to continue to driving as full time race driver at this time. In an effort to continue supporting Antonio’s development, however, Jaguar Racing has offered him the opportunity to remain with the team as reserve and test driver."</TD></TR></TABLE>

Also if anyone has a Replay 4xxx, I still have this race on disk and can send it to anyone that wants to check it out.

F1 qualifying this year is about as bad as some of the F1 races last year
...just watching Schumacher lap the track to victory. But I think the qualifying this year makes the races more interesting by mixing up the grid a bit. MS went off slightly in one of the turns and that little mistake sent him back to the 3rd row. Just look at the grid from Silverstone...it might've been a better race than average even without the two safety car periods (not NEARLY as exciting of course, but better than average).

Awesome race, Rubens was tearin it up.
Anybody know what that wack job that ran onto the track was protesting? He had a sign with him, but I couldn't make out what it said. I thought he was going to get mowed down.
