not to bash, but jesus i feel sorry for the guys in the accord and del sol...
What's worse is i feel bad for the guys who lost to the accord and del sol.
I can't imagine either one of those vehicles being competitive.
But, i guess that's because i'm an outsider.

why are you going to feel sorry for me? I am driving a race car, that is all I care about. If I wanted to be competitive I guess I would have bought a GSR. And the Accord is almost bone stock, hell it still has a cast iron header on it. Not to mention the mechanical problems I suffered all weekend. The car is a good 3 seconds faster than the times show.
The guy in the Del Sol managed to place 2nd and 3rd Saturday and Sunday so do not feel to bad for him.

Del Sol VTEC is a fast car - it has as much potential as a GSR certainly. Why would you think it was slow?
And the Accords are not bad either, despite their extra bulk. It's a good chassis with a torquey motor (relative to the smaller Honda motors).

well it has kinda been discussed but we would like to see how well it does minus another 100-150 lbs and have about all the cheap HP out of it we can get, VIR will be a good test for the car

I tell you what, I swear that it is one of the most fun cars to drive on track period, ask anybody who has driven it before and people who have been passed by it, the car is on rails throught the corners due to it's chassis
