I get to work on time, a good start to a bad day. On my first break I find my tire slashed, in the process of changing it I lock my keys in the car. Basically I had the keys hanging in the ignition, and after I pulled the spare out I closed the hatch, that made the door shut because I was parked on a hill. And finnally the FI part, my engine blew up on the way home (actually 15 miles from home) when cruising at 80mph, not boosting!!! I guess it was fun before that. My car will be reborn w/ a new enginem AD16A6, but I plan to sell soon after. I have experienced boost, and it is too addicting for a street car. I want to get a CRX (me EF/ED chassis), and maybe when I can have another car for a daily driver I will turbo the CRX.

My car is sitting on the interstate now, and will probably be squashed or stripped when I pick it up.

But DAYM today sucked

Had a friend's turbo ZC throw #1 rod bearing on a boostless cruise to my house this morning. Seems like it's been the day for that sort of thing.

Monday morning we roll into the local jap engine importer, sling a D16Z6 or Y8 in there by midafternoon and have it retuned on the wideband before dinner. You can't take any **** from the machines.

 

That sux, I had days like that.

yeah bad day for boosted cars, i broke a motor mount, and my my cyl #1 ignition wire came off when i was giving a friend a ride

but i fixed those problems already!

 

thank gawd my motor is out of car, other wise crank would probably blow out of the bottom of it, based on your guys day.

 

Today is going better, but I can't get a trailer, fawk $100 to tow it home, I just want to borrow/rent a 2 wheel trailer. Nobody is open on Sunday.
