Safe to run no front sway bar?
Sounds like he's trying to induce oversteer, because the stock configuration still has understeer.
The no front bar thing is popular with the lighter cars, but I dunno how well it works in an ITR.

Might be taking it off to drag race? I know it helps in RWD cars, not sure about in FWD cars. But its okay. My friends with jeeps do it all the time without a problem. Just be careful! It wont handle worth ****.
yeah, it's safe. It's not like you've got a RWD car which will induce a huge oversteer...
FYI, my EK hatch didn't come with front and the rear sway bar. I put the rear sway bar first and it was AWESOME... it felt better than when I put both the front and the rear sway bars. However, watch it in the rain... needless to say that I run both the front and the rear as the car is a daily driver.

If you are doing this for drag racing, and weight reduction... then just keep it on.
Your 60ft. time will be worse(mine was).. the swaybar holds the front end together.
If you wanna pull weight, yank your antenna motor, rear wiper and motor(CALL ME FOR A PLUG KIT!), pull the ABS out, put in a manual Civic DX steering rack, pull the bumper supports, etc... the list goes on and on. And YES it helps. Not only in drag, but all aspects.

You don't need a front bar, it's perfectly safe without it. Might make it more fun getting the tail out from time to time. Just remember when it breaks loose keep your foot in it and have fun.
WOW so many responses I love this board, the reason I was asking, was that I just recieved a front A arm kit from Moroso for free, and I would hate too waste a free part. It requires the removal of the front sway bar STRICTLY for drag racing only, A arm kit must be removed for street, I was just wondering if it would be safe at least at the track.
Thank you guys for all your insite I basically already knew the answer I wanted just to be sure is all.
