i have an Alpine cda-7893 deck and plan on getting this monitor....

My question is what do i need to do to hook up a ps2 to this and have the sound play in my stereo?? i know i will have to get a power inverter too, but is that all??

 

Does your deck have an auxiliary input?

 

if it doesnt have aux input for RCA's you'll need to fm mod it to get sound

 

yea my deck does have the AUX input so how do i hook up the ps2?

Audio: Output (PS2)--->Input (Alpine AUX)

 

yep and alpine also makes an adaptor that plugs into cd changer port on the headunit and makes that an aux.input also.

 

so i just need to plug the red and white RCA plugs from the ps2 into the deck? and then the yellow one into the monitor??
