Default Any thoughts on the best (aftermarket) LS cams for STOCK valvetrain?

Getting a great deal on a new PnP head, 3-angle, new springs/retainers/valves.. but they are all stock OEM stuff.

So, I can't run something as big as a 403.... was looking at crower 402s and Crane #12..

Anyone run a bigger cam on their LS without changing the springs?

Thnx
Haggar

email me directly (click my username) since I'm still a trial user and can't pm.. If the price is right, I'd be interested. How would you rate their performance?

Thanks

I ran 403s on stock valvetrain with no problems. Actually, alot of people run 403s on stock valvetrain.

Iheard that a lot of people use crower 403 cams with their stock retainers and springs. As long as you don't go over the Redline, it should be fine.
