Somebody backed into my 98LS about 5 months and ran away. The front bumper had a little dent and some scratches on it. My brother wanted to be nice and generous and bought me a Combat front bumper for my birthday. I've got the bumper last week but it has no turning signal lights. I went to a bodyshop and asked them if they can put the turning signal lenses to the new bumper. They've looked at the new bumper and said they can't because of the bumpers certain angles and stuff.

SO my question is; What am I going to do? I don't want to sell the bumper and get a new one. I like the bumper and I want to put it on the car. Is there any kind of turning signals either it could be glued or drilled to the bumper? small or big, whatever. I can't drive the car w/o the turning signals.

Please help.

 

I'd go back to stock dood. If you put some custom turn signals on and then you get into an accident, insurance will nail you for the non approved signals.

 

I might be mistaken, but I think people w/ the Combat kit used Supra turn signals?

 

Find turn signals from a different car that would fit and use those.

you are quite correct. There are more bumpers that that turn signal is used for also. Buddy Club is one of 'em.

 

this is what i did for my front bumper... go to a motor cycle shop and ask to see there turn signals and get a set of flush mounted 1's drill them in hook them up and there ya go
