Default Irratic Idle, cant get rid of it?? HELP

I have a 1995 gsr built

68mm holley tb (TPS is set and does not throw code)
skunk2 im, ported to 68mm

I have bypassed the iacv and the cars idle will still go up and down, over and over after i did that.

I have checked and replaced my vacum lines. I dont think the injector seals are leaking there bran new. Im thinkin the intake manifold gasket???? It might have gotten wet when i took it off to fix something so mabey that was it im not sure....

I have thought about taking the IACV off and haveing the holes welded shut. and doing away with this completly. just cant take this **** anymore im at the point of selling the car.

Why did you bypass the IACV?

I was told it might be bad and if it was and i blocked off the coolant lines it would stop. it diddent. Timing might be an issue here too. im wondering if the crank pulley is on right? we timed the car to stock 16% and the dist is all the way forward

Same thing happened to my buddies GSR after we installed a JG intake.

Idle surging ....

Turned out somehow the IAT got fried! Replaced it and it fixed it. As far as vacuum leaks, spray brake cleaner around possible places were it could be leaking. If the idles changes, you found your problem, or if it bubbles.

GOod luck

I bypassed the iacv. i unpluged it and the idle still surges.

Also im wondering i have gas comming out the top of my aem FPR. thats not supposed to happen is it?

Im thinking that the manifold was ported to much and hit an air jacket and now my car wont idle normal. just cant figure this out so looks like im going to get a new TB and Manifold.

I just went through the same thing. I changed IACV, fast idle valve, ignitor, Plugs, wires, rotor . cap, went through all vaccum lines, and any place that mey leak, t-body, intake manifold, yada yada, I was about to drive it into a wall. A buddy came over to help me trouble shoot it, and just when we were both about fed up, i decided to try his ecu.... that was it, the ecu was messed up somehow. Replaced it, no idle problems since

Check torque specs on tb and im. if all else fails try ecu, worked for me.
