My baby...it's an ek by the way
Yes, I realize it's stock at the moment, but it sees track time so i love her anyway. More updates to come...
I'll probably be putting on some koni yellows next (no springs) so that I can stay in my class. Reply if you'd like...

Be prepared to weld those spring perches to the shock body, that's the only way you'll stay in your class with those shocks(stock class I assume).

JMX: I threw a K&N filter in it awhile ago, it's about all I can do.
DXHatchback: I got the H-T stickers at the last Honda-tech event at englishtown
PatrickGSR94: So, once I weld the spring perches to the shock body I can't use the shocks with aftermarket springs? I mean, can the shocks be used again after that? Need clarity.

the perches on those shocks are adjustable. they can sit on three notches. most shocks cant do that, so i assume ur class is required to have it all one piece, u can still use aftermarket springs, just pick a notch and weld it.

SCCA rules for stock classes specify that any shock absorber can be used, as long as it retains all stock mount points, and is of the same type as stock.... no change to the standard spring mounting is allowed, and suspension geometry may not be altered.
Since the Koni yellow shocks have a separate spring perch with a choice of ride height positions, you will have to position them in the stock location and have the perches welded to the shock body. This will make the perch just like any other regular shock.
