Weird B16 problem
I love my B16, it pulls hard and runs well, but it's always had a weird problem. Whenever it's warm, and I rev it up, the RPM will drop to about 600, then stabilize. Also, if I start it after it's warm, it will idle really low and waver quite a bit between 600-700 rpm, then stabilize when I give it gas. What could this be? Main relay? It's been giving me problems lately... like fuel pump wouldn't prime a couple times. Could this be the IACV? Any ideas?

Hmm you think it could be that? It seems to run fine when I give it gas, it's just at idle.

It could very well be what I said.
Those problems usually occur on the lower RPM area and on the higher RPM area.
Check your plugs also... and clean your IACV and make sure your radiator has no air in it!

Yeah it could be the IACV I guess; Since when I cleaned the IM manifold a crap load of TB cleaner got into it. Plugs are new, and I jut replaced the wires with some OEM Del Sol VTEC wires today, so we'll see if that helps. It definately pulls hard up to 8K, no stuttering or hesitation there. Except when the engine is a little cold it kinda hesitates at 2800 rpm going up a hill.
