iam thinking of getting my b16a intake manifold extrude hone ported, does anybody have any idea what it would cost to do? will it shift my peak numbers up? i already have some ctr pistons and skunk2 stage 1 cams.

Dollars? If so you I think you have found the cheapest place around.

Not worth the money IMO.

HAHA one of there plants is bout 5 minuets from my house guess im lucky...i tried getting an internship there for school.

i say its worth it, it'll give you a bigger gain than an intake or something for a simalar price.

they use an abrasive paste pumped through the part to simulate airflow and remove its restrictions.

i know it smooths the material well, but does it actually port it in a way also?

i was considering having it done for my ITR header, but the cost is ludacris. over 450$

speaking of that, anybody remember the Audi guy who tried to do his own motor by simply putting sand in it and firing it up? haha

local bay area tuner claims 5-10 whp gain on an extrude honed skunk2 intake mani...he's asking too much though, $320 plus trade of my skunk2 intake...I'd probably jump on it if he can back it up with dyno-results.
