hey guys, just a few days ago my car started making this noise above 7.5k rpm. its almost like a buzzing and its making me conscerned. i drive a 98 gsr with intake and itr exhaust. could it be the exhaust mani cause ive herd they fall apart after awhile? anyone have any idea what this could be??? thanks

 

Heatshields also tend to rattle at certain rpms. One day they will be fine the next they start rattling

 

If it's really high pitch, it's a valve clearence problem.

If it's just like a normal rattling sound, you might want to double check your installation of your CAI.

 

all my heatshields have been removed except for the one behind the exhaust manifold. my cai broke in half so now its a short ram so i doubt its that. any other suggestions?
