I have a problem with water getting into the passenger side footwell after a heavy rain. If i leave the vent off & set the air flow to recycle that usually helps but doesn't stop this from happening.
I was told that there is a drain for rain water near the firewall that may be clogged but I can't this drain to unclog it.
Any ideas? ( I have the factory sevice manual but haven't found any info - if it's in there - what page??)
thanks

I can not guarentee this, but what might be happening is that water is getting via the vents... kind of like when leaves and dust in the vent system. there is a passage in the passanger footwell for the vent system, and the water could be traveling there. I know when I pulled out my ac system and removed the evaporator and replaced it with the ac delete duct... I get allot more leaves in my system blowing through where the old evap used to catch them all. I don't know how this helps you, but you could take the vent system apart ont eh passanger side and look for clogging

This is true. It is coming in the vents - that's why there's got to be a drain (i hope) to keep it from coming in. With the cowl over the wiper linkage removed I can see that there is a slope to direct water from the driver's side to the passenger side, but from there the only thing I can see where it goes is the fan (I can't see the fan, but I can reach it) - but no leaves or dirt get in.
integras are known for leaky windshields as well so take a look
into this as well mainly the leaks are in the corners
but the drain could be cloged as well..
I have not done this myself.

it is probably the little seals that go in the cowl of the windshield. i think there are 8 and they cost just over $2 each. get them, and no worries for a long time. mine are going to be ordered very soon. lol.

Your right on this. Check out the Teg Tips on http://www.g2ic.com , they have some good info on that problem. I've been meaning to look at my seals too because I sometimes get water down in the passenger foot area also.
