Is it closer to 2.25in or 2.5 in? I did the calculation and it seems to be like 2.38~. Went turbo and need a bigger exhaust

2.36in or 60mm

here are some "turbo" exhaust:
HyTech 2.5 63.5 Twin-pass
SMSP 2.5 63.5 Straight-through
Type One Racing (T1R) 2.5 63.5 Straight-through
Kakimoto R 2.76 70 Straight-through
Thermal R&D Turbo

thanks to TI

uhhh I don't get it, the answer to your question is right there... actually 2.38 is smack in the middle between 2.25 and 2.50, which would make it about 2-3/8".

1.91in is 48.6mm
2.0in is 50.8mm

2.25in is 57.2mm
2.36in is 60mm
2.38in is 60.5mm
2.5in is 63.5mm
2.76in is 70mm
3.0in is 76.2mm

If you are going turbo then you want bigger piping than 60mm

60mm will do if your not pushing alot of WHP. or custom 2.5" from KTeller. 70mm EVO's are available I believe. reducing backpressure will probably help spool the turbo better...but not significantly enough to deal with the added noise. Yeah, the turbo itself will muffle some sound...but not enough.....try the FI forum...some swear by 3"

Anyone using the greddy SP and can provide advice on whether to buy this or go with the Greddy Evo. yes, the evo go from 60-70mm, but I am curious if this exhaust flows well and is recommended over the tanabe hyper medallion or Apexi WS...

Yes, but does the muffler rob lots of power or is it still advisable ? Thats what I am going after, finding the best solution (middle ground for sound and power) is what I am going for. Thanks!
